Pedestrian Game

Last week, we got to play a giant board game to help us learn about road safety.

It was fun waiting for our turn. There were questions to answer and sometimes we got to move forward or backwards depending on the number we landed on.

Levi had a turn being a dice master.

Look at Elise jumping!

Cross Country

Today we had cross country. It was so much fun and Mrs Bovill was so proud of how hard we tried. We loved participating and cheering on our friends.

We were such good sports wishing our friends luck and look at all of the smiles on our faces!

We finished off the day with a yummy ice block!

Our class trip to the Botanical Gardens

On Tuesday Room 1 and 3 went to the Botanical Gardens. We were so excited to go there on the bus.

One we arrived, we had some morning tea.

After eating, we went split in to groups and spent some time at the classroom in the gardens. We planted our own seeds and seedlings which was so fun.

Then we had some jobs to do like turning the soil and tidying up.

Next we went inside the classroom and learnt about the life cycle of a plant.

We loved looking at the worms too...

After lunch, it was time to explore the gardens. It was a great day for an adventure!

Football for Kids

Yesterday, Football for Kids took us for a lesson. We had so much fun learning how to play football and learnt some new skills.

First we played a game where we had to kick a ball around and then do different things with the ball. We couldn't use our hands though!

We sat on the ball....

Put our noses on the ball...

AND put our tummies on the ball!

Then we got to jump on the bouncy castle. It is really a giant inflatable goal!

Lastly we got to play a game of football. We loved chasing after the ball!

Elise and Emily got medals for their great effort. Well done!
