PMP

We have really been enjoying PMP in Room 1. At PMP we focus on improving our gross motor skills. There are lots of stations we rotate around and there are always lots of laughs to be had.

Acrostic Poems

We have been learning to use describing words in our writing. We were really cold at school last week, so we wrote an acrostic poem and tried to use lots of 'wow' words. We are so proud of them. Scroll down to see all of our poems.

Science in a Van

On Monday, Science in a Van visited us at school. We made predictions and observations and learnt all about how some mixtures react and some separate. Our favourite part of the lesson was watching all of the bubbles. There were big ones, little ones, heavy ones and popping ones too!

Emily and Alan were really funny!

Check out Alan's bubbles!

We are really impressed!

Emily taught us lots about mixtures.

We are helping Emily shake this mixture.

The mixture had a reaction, it created a gas and it filled up the balloon!

We loved this reaction - it looks like it is smoking!

Look how heavy this bubble is...

We loved learning about bubbles and the material world. We learnt what materials are and how they can change, but we also learnt how much fun science can be.
