Bug Smoothies!

Last week we made kale smoothies! We were learning about measurement. After we tasted our own smoothies, we decided to make 'bug smoothies'. We measured different things we thought bugs would like to have in their own smoothies. Would you want to taste any of these!? 

Road Safety Week

This week is Road Safety Week. We were so lucky to have two of the Travelwise Team Members come to visit us and teach us how to cross the road safely. 

We learnt a poem and talked about what we need to do when we cross at the school crossing without the road patrol monitors. 

It is really important we learn how to stay safe on the roads. Our main learning was that we need to stop, look and listen before we cross. We need to stop to make sure the cars have stopped, because unfortunately lots of cars don't just stop when they reach a crossing. 

Look at us looking both ways! 

After we crossed we answered some questions about what we need to do when we cross the road without the road patrol monitors. We got all the questions right! 

Mother's Day

On Friday, our mums were invited to come and spend time with us at school. Max and Elise were very brave and shared their stories in assembly. After assembly, our mum's helped us to ice some biscuits.
